Mubasher: Oil prices traded lower on Monday after the US, UK, and France launched airstrikes against Syria on Friday, citing a chemical attack on civilians.
By 9:25 am GMT, Brent crude retreated 1.54% to $71.46 per barrel (pb), while US crude (Nymex) fell 1.48% to $66.39 pb.
The strike on Syria included 105 missiles but were meant to avoid civilians.
